Hey guys, I'm probably going to buy a new leftover 05 rx8 next week and I heard lots of horror stories about the paint. I was wondering if anyone makes a clear bra for the RX8 since I will be buying a new car and would like it to remain that way.

 

many companies make them, 3M, etc... Some dealers will put them on for you, many body shops do as well, or you could do it yourself. Not to sure how tuff it is to put it on yourself. good luck.

3M and VentureShield are two that come to mind.

I had the VentureShield installed last year.........

Please be advised that unless you are VERY experienced with installing this stuff, you will not be able to do the front. Headlights, hood, mirrors are easy but the actual front bumper is extremely difficult. It even took my installer two times to get it right (and there are still 2 small area's that I know are there that are flawed).
