Hi All,

This thread is going to be dedicated to the maintenance of my RX8. It will be something between a build thread and a list of things I am doing. I saw this done by another member here to help them keep track of things like oil changes, brake changes, general maintenance, etc. Currently the car is outfitted with the following:

BHR Midpipe @ 80k Miles
Tein S-Tech Loweing Springs
Greddy SP2 Exhaust
DIY Polyurethan Motor Mounts (80A) @ 95K Miles
Motor Replaced with Mazda Reman @ 65K Miles
New Clutch at 65K Miles (with reman) and again at 85K miles (pilot bearing blew)

Most of these were done out of necessity except the exhaust and the springs, which came on the car when I purchased it. The midpipe was purchase since my OEM cat had clogged and I DIY'd the motor mounts after the passenger side mount had failed.

To start off this thread, today I performed the following:

Front Brake Rotors and Pads changed @ 103,175K miles

Ps: Im the Winning Blue in the middle! :)

My personal preference is just to create an excel spreadsheet of all my maintenance items. That way you can just add columns and keep things organized. Start another sheet for your mod list, and maybe even another for all your wanted mods. You can easily track how much you have invested into your car this way and budget as need be. Nice color btw.

Cabin and air intake filters have been changed already. I have done alot of maintenance to this car since I bought it in 2010. This will serve as an easy way to keep track of everything which I dont have a good habit of doing currently. Hopefully this will help!

A free site I use is mileagetracker.org. Easy to use and you can set your own mileage for maintenance items.
