So since I purchased my 8 2 months ago the check engine light was on..well the light mysteriously turned off today ? the code that was making the light go off was p0301 I looked it up and there are a list of things it could have been is this unusual or am I just fortunate?

 

What does putting it into ACC Mode do? and by 1 click before starting what do you mean?

 

1 click before starting would be ON

put in your key, turn it to just before starting, pump the brake 20 times

that's what that means

I want clear the engine too for the same code.

 

That's for clearing the DSC/TCS light after disconnecting the battery.
