cheap legit parts online

anyone know of any? please help

The Reverend 08-18-2010 02:38 PM

lol what kind of parts are you looking for

Fortunate Few 08-18-2010 02:49 PM

also how much are you willing to spend?

rotaryfx.com sells cheaper strakes and rotary accents than the OEM ones.

Mazmart 08-18-2010 02:52 PM

Total shameless self plug:

http://mazmart.com/Parts.aspx?n=new&m=6

Where else could you need to go? :dunno:

Paul :)

BlackC300 08-18-2010 04:54 PM

eh ebay if you find the right sellers. Just ask a bunch of questions and if they respond a lot you know you'll get some good service. Some sellers just ignore you and you can avoid those.

laythor 08-18-2010 05:06 PM

like others have said you need to know what you want before you can find "cheap" and "legit"

Paul over at mazmart is a good guy, click on his link

Renesis07 08-19-2010 03:38 PM

Well, if you're looking for OEM parts or used parts, you can also use car-part.com

That's where I went to find a used Trans/diff/driveshaft/ miscellaneous bits for the car. It searches all the junkyards and wholesalers for you.

But it may be useless for you depending on what youre looking for.

TH Motorsports, and the F/S threads here are where I troll for mods. Mazmart is good too although I haven't given them business yet personally (sorry Paul!)

Razz1 08-19-2010 06:38 PM

Paul and that Mazda Dealer on the East Coast plus some member here in the for sale section.

dshiznit1489 08-19-2010 07:21 PM

"Cheap" and "legit" don't go in the same sentence....unless you're talking about Vegas hookers.

av8tionmec 08-19-2010 08:26 PM

for new OEM parts I found that onlinemazdaparts.com is good. Ordered from them a few times and no problems. About 20 percent cheaper then local dealership.

sergio626 08-20-2010 02:31 AM

Well I'm actually looking for the rear mirror spoiler....abit rare and hard to find....any ideas

maskedferret 08-20-2010 03:07 AM

Cheap, Quality, Legit -- pick two.

Don't forget your local Junk yard online!

I cant get to the picture because the sites are blocked here at work. There are spoilers available that are little lip spoilers that go above the rear window. I have seen them for sale but never actually seen one on an RX8.

probably why no ones selling them anymore....

rx8speeddmon 08-20-2010 01:58 PM

japanparts.com has the window spoiler, but not cheap. u can find it on ebay or evo-r.net (it is the same company doing the selling) for a less expensive replica.

Commonly seen on Imprezas and Lancers (I think). Ugly IMO, and probably uglier on an RX-8.

The ones Ive seen for the RX8 are much more conservative. They're more of a 'duck bill' style that just swoops across. Almost unnoticable.

My wife's long gone 1974 AMC Hornet Sportabout had one of those. That car was a small station wagon. The wing did a nice job of keeping the back window clean in the rain without a rear wiper.

Nice to see the technology making a comeback...but not nice to see that someone wants to put one of those on an 8.

Ken

Supernaut6 08-20-2010 05:02 PM

No mention of Ray Crowe from Malloy mazda?

sergio626 08-21-2010 02:32 AM

Thank you RENESIS07.....THAT looks hard....and is rare
But the ones I have found are too expensive mostly 2 bills plus....I also want the side window visors

ZumnRx8 08-21-2010 02:43 AM

side window visors = weathertech.com or rotaryfx.com or japanparts.com
