Ok.

I'm also gonna seat if I can just heat the assembly with a blow dryer to dry as much out of there as I can.

Thanks!

I gave up on the blow dryer idea as it seemed to just heat up the water inside the light and cause more steam, aka condensation.

I did find something else that completely fixed the condensation for me, so I added my little work instrucion to nycgps's DIY for tailight condensation.

Check it out.

I replied ya pm.

just in case someone missed my DIY , do NOT use heat on the gasket, that crap melts easily, dont ask me how I know :P

blow dry it with room temp air.

or leave it on a stack of newspaper.

Most dealerships dont have bodyshops, they out source them most of the time. but if they're the ones who did your work, they should cover it.

Umm... why?

I told him there were service bulletins on the issue, and that Mazda should no longer be putting these faulty lights into RX8's. He said service bulletins are tech reports for Mazda techs and no customer should pay attention to them.

Anyone have to pay to get Mazda's crappy taillight replaced?
I've had my font, back and fog lights all replaced because of the condensation getting inside. My dealership did all of them for FREE. That should be under warranty. You didnt cause that!
