cel

I searched for cel light and got about 13 pages of topics back and read about 10 pages of em. But my cel came on today when i was on my way to baltimore. It stayed on the whole way there (69 miles) and the whole way back. The last time I filled up was about two weeks ago, and I've driven it a few times since then so I don't think that it could be that. (I did fill up today though and made sure to put the cap on very tight) But the coolant level was low. I filled it up but the light is still on. I only started it once since then but was wondering if that could be my problem and if it takes a few start cycles for it to go away. I am going to call the dealership tomorrow to see if I should bring it in, but does anyone have any other things for me to check or advice?

Take it to a dealer and have them read the error codes related to the CEL that will be stored in PCM memory. The low coolant doesn't sound good to me. If the coolant continues to drop, you need to find out what's causing that, soon.
