Buying a used Rx-8 - Tips
 

Hey guy,
I'm new in this forum and am thinking of purchasing a used RX-8.
I am not sure if this is the correct forum so if it is not, moderators feel free to move my post.

I am posting from Australia so US-specific information may not be relevant.

I am after just general pointers such as common problems of used cars especially how to tell if an RX-8 has not been well looked after.

I cannot afford a brand new RX-8, so have to settle for a used one.

Some questions that I have off the top of my head are,
1. Most used cars in my price range have 30 - 50 k KM (19 - 31 k miles) on it depending on whether it is with the Leather Trim and what options it has. Is this a lot for an RX-8?

2. I have read that there are some specific problems with the 2003 RX-8's that I cannot remember off the top of my head. Should I be aware of this when looking at an '03 RX-8?

3. Any other info. :)
