buying replacement engine

My 2004 rx8 lost engine compression about a year and half and its been just looking awesome in my driveway... Dont worry I bought a G37 after it died. However, now is the time i'm in the market to replace that Rotary motor. I dont want to buy brand new (7gs) engine so im looking for a rebuilt or used engine and could use eveyones help for the best place for a replacement or advice on what motor is most reliable.

* mazda will not replace
* current motor has 130,000 + miles
* no i dont want to just buy a seal kit( mechanic no how not present)
* want to spend less than 2500 for motor nephew will install for 600
* transmission is auto
* did some searches didnt find the answer dont really have timefor data mining..

Paul is your friend at Mazmart or try Mazdatrix or BHR

I believe BHR is more for installation and aftermarket parts

Depending on where you live, you could consider taking it to Rotary Resurrection for a rebuild.

I went to google and searched for RX8 engines and found a couple for under 2500.
