Black - how tough?
 

Hi

I've had a black MX-6 - great paint compared with alot of black cars... how tough is the black on the rx-8?

I live in UK and sometimes need to travel on some pretty crappy back-roads, but like to keep my car looking A1. Would the tit grey make more sense?

I believe they changed the way they paint the cars after 06 but 04 and 05 paint is very soft

I lived on a gravel road in Iowa for 3 years before moving to Chicago. My cars paint has rock chips everywhere and looks like shit. Paint is really soft as Jedi mentioned.

if you're not willing to wash it almost weekly, be prepared to have a constantly dirty car. This car always gets dirty, even after a little rain

I have a 2004 and the paint is very soft.

04 here and don't have a problem...however i stay away from back roads so that helps alot...
