Ahhh you been hit with the teeter totter effect.

Easiest and fastest way to get all 4 wheels off a car.

Sorry man, did you have any locks on your wheels? Or wheel lug locks?

Oh ****....sons of bitches!

That brick/boulder **** is messed up.

Yeah, steal the wheels and tires but don't screw up the body.

Sorry to hear about that.....hope the insurance treats you well.

I had wheel locks on all 4 wheels. I have no idea how they got them off. Insurance is not treating me well so far... because I "didn't report I added aftermarket parts, those items may not be covered by your insurance policy which only covers what is on a factory car at the time of purchase." They have to "investigate".

Jeez, that sucks man.

You would think if you put lug locks, you're somewhat safe. The autolock thing people put on their wheel that wraps around the whole wheel is not safe as well.

Basically if a thief wants your car/wheels, they will take it one way or another.

Thats why i dont think i can ever park my FD outside ever. I dont even take it to the track anymore because im paranoid to leave it in the parking lot. Its not worth it.

I dont know how you guys do it.

Reality is, you have to have coverage for aftermarket parts on your car or your company isn't responsible for the additional cost of replacing them if something happens. That'a not them being ******, its the insurance contract.

In any event, I hope you find and castrate the bastards.

Mind sharing general vicinity where you're from?

I swapped my lock lugs for regular ones a couple weeks back because I didn't get the key with my car. It's stuff like this that I used to rationalize not ordering the key.

whats next, having to chain your wheels up like a motorcycle after you park?
that sucks, awesome looking wheels, sorry m8
I thought wheel locks would keep them safe, they did their job on my firebird when someone tried to steal the stock wheels, I guess the wheel locks only keep the non-pro's at bay

Oh my god the ******* didn't even use cinder blocks. Yeah, somebody needs to die a horrible death for that kind of ****.

You really shoulda just said "stock wheels and tires" to your insurance. Some compensation is better than none at all.

**** man, that sucks. It's very easy to remove a wheel lock, all they do is get a socket that is bigger than the lock nut. Force it on with a hammer, and then turn.

I'm in Columbia MD which is one of the yuppiest "safest" communities you can be in. I have lived in some straight up ghetto places with very nice cars and never ever had a problem before. I don't even really know what to do at this point. I had the police out and they basically said there is very little chance of catching the guys who did this. Insurance may cover it, but I don't even know how I'm supposed to take the car down off the !#%ing rocks its on. It's not like I can tow it anywhere right now.

Oh they completely crushed the left side of the car on the underside. The appearance package piece is shattered and hanging on by a thread and the edge is a mess. If they had just taken the wheels I would be pissed, but now I'm -really- pissed.

I'm sorry this happened to you man. Just last week, some guy was trying to get the radar out of my car and I saw him and beat the living **** out of him. Then HE said he was gonna call the cops haha.

I hope everything gets resolved... and hopefully you find out who the ******* were

the stock wheels cost $499 new from a mazda dealership.

whatever aftermarkets you had, im pretty sure they cost less than that. the oem tires are at least $200/piece as well. so you're looking at ~$2800 adjusted for tire wear. i dont know, but im pretty sure that will cover you for wheels.

and of course they'll take care of the body as well.

total blower. goddamn ********.

Dang man.. I've never heard of that happening till now o.o

Makes me scared for mine.. luckily at home it's always parked in an incline, so using rocks wouldn't work very well..

Still though.. that's really messed up.
