I stumbled across this board when I was looking for more information on my gf's rx8 MT. She bought it in November, and it's a beauty. I drive a 2001 330i and after driving it, I was seriously comtemplating trading it in and jumping on the rx8 bandwagon. It's one hell of a car. Anyway, she's the love of my life, and practically lives with me, so I get the best of both worlds. I drive mine most of the time, but I do enjoy taking her car out for a spin. I just wish that the interior was a little more refined. It handles perfectly, and other than the gas milage, I don't think there is a complaint from either of us. VERY impressive car.

More gadgets = more gooder.

Actually, rethinking that, I do wish the center console were raised a bit to be used as an arm rest. It's a bit uncomfortable on long trips.

We are definitely looking forward to the hydrogen version (if/when it happens), and I'm REALLY interested in the ideas being kicked around about the rebirth of the 7.
