Battery Relocation
I'm trying to gather up all the things I would need for relocating the battery to the trunk. I've looked through various threads on here that were dedicated to that purpose and these products are what I came up with. The problem is I don't really know what I'm doing so I'm kind of winging it, so I would like a sanity check before I spend money on the wrong stuff.
Obviously I still need the battery, thinking of getting an Optima red top. I appreciate any advice. |
Stay away from optima, i like Deka personally.

did you ever consider searching the dozens of threads on the subject in the appropriate technical areas?
which I suppose is a rhetorical question ... . . |

What's wrong with Optima? I've heard they were good.

I heard getting married was good, too. Now I have a ex-wife and a visitation schedule.
I've had Optima's for years in several different vehicles, they've always out-performed any other battery, and have been fairly consistent in quality, and easy to work with if warranty becomes a concern. But I appreciate the input, never heard of Deka, will look into it. |

Optima batteries WERE good batteries many years ago but their quality standards seem to have worsened significantly. I know about 5 years ago I went through 4 different yellow tops in the span of 2 months. Two of them were DOA and the other two couldn't hold a charge for more than a week. |

Have you tried actually reading my post, and being civil and not a physically and spiritually broken old man?
Rhetorical question, I know. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx8...84a05c0021.png the same for being civil, but ok. . |
