The Hymee Scanalyzer requires a computer. It can be programed to give you info in graphical form rather than numeric display. I believe, it can also log more parameters at one time.

Just put mine in yesterday. Very nice little gadget. Now I have a real readout for water temps, as well as some other stats... See the pictures for my mounting location.

On another note, does anyone have any extra codes for the "xgauge"? I'm sure there are more parameters we could get out of it (especially interested in MAF readings). Would we be able to get a list of codes from someone with a scanalyser or canscan?

they list a bunch of codes on their website, including FORD specific stuff we might be able to use.

Yes there's a couple of interesting things in the Ford tables including fuel trims. I haven;t tried it yet, but we'll see.. I was just thinking maybe we could get a complete listing of what is supported by the 8.
