Anyone else's elbow hit the seat belt buckle?
I'm 6', 180 lbs (US) and I must admit that I do have slightly longer than usual arms (okay I have ape arms), but I've noticed that when I hold the wheel at the bottom with my right arm, the buckle end hits my elbow. I've been trying to break myself of the habit, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

nope.

Can't say that I have... Of course, I'm only 5'8"/165lbs. I have noticed that when I first got the car I had a habit of sitting down, resting my right elbow on the center console and kind of using it to push against to situate myself. Every time it knocked the sliding lid off track. I have had to make a conscious effort to avoid it.

I'm about your size exactly. I either use my left hand to steer or I lean a little in to the center of the car and "lean" my right elbow on the center console. I'm left-handed but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I'm about your size too (6'1" ~180#) and I don't have that problem... I don't have ape arms though :D

I have long arms for a guy who is 5'10" but use the center console as the resting place for my right arm when I'm not shifting . . .

do you have an automatic?
If you had a manual you wouldn't usually hold the wheel with your right. Not saying that you should change cars... just asking. |
Adjust the seat. Move it forward or backwards. see if this helps.
