Anyone knows anything about euro pricing? Any ideas?

Most Americans dont know this but Euro market prices can be different up to 40% in different countries for exactly same car

Example:

Clio Sport 172

Croatia - 18,000 EURO
Germany - 22,000 EURO
UK -25,000 EURO


Mazda MX-5 (1.6 base)

Croatia - 18,000 Euro
Germany - 23,200 Euro
UK - 24,300 Euro

This looks good for me so far, so I hope Rx-8 is going to be a little bit cheaper in croatia than rest of Europe... funny thing is that the taxes you pay in croatia for new car are probably the highest out of 3 (around 50%) ;-)... base price (without taxes) in croatia for high end MX-5/Miata is $13.5k (6 speed, heated seats, etc)... Better start saving my USA salary ;-)

 

Do you have some new information how much will it cost? I read in one magazine that base model would be around 35 000 €.

Of course I live in the most expensive place!!! Anyone in Croatia want to do a deal lol... I hear it's a nice drive to the UK... LOL
