first i would like to point out that i dont not know of any member in singapore that drives that car.

To say that the exhaust are ugly thats one issue it but to say that the COLOUR WHITE is ugly, NOW thats a different issue.

Tiburon owners can keep on dreaming and deceiving themselves that their car is great.

i think they just saw titanium grey and were "awed" by it so much...nothing else compared :D

I object to to unwarranted attack on white. If you have seen the pearl white in person you would not fail to be impressed.

As for the triple exhaust, not my cup of tea but I would say to each his own. Variety is the spice of life. Salute to the bro who dared to be different.

I have to agree that the Whitewater Pearl is a nice color in person. Those Tiburon owners are definitely on crack. I was at a car show and sat in the Tiburon for fun. Guess what? The BRAND SPANKING NEW show car Tiburon had frayed seatbelts, chaffed leather seats and scratched up panels. Sure the car has been sat in a few hundred times but the leather seats SHOULDN'T wear out that quickly and same with the seat belt (who plays with the seat belt in a stationary car?).

if you had gone through the thread, you would have found the tiburon guys had nothing bad to say about the rx8, only that specific one with the three exhaust tips.

they are saying the rx-8 is ugly with the 3 tip exhaust funny thing is the tiburon is pretty ugly stock or modified for appearance period.

I did read the thread. In fact I was probably the first person to read it, after Shaolin the original poster. I was talking about the fact they are talking $hit about the color and they were ripping us up.

Mazda went overboard with the rotary symbol on the RX8, its everywhere on the inside - the seats the dash - even the shifter is 3 sided, the RX7 didnt have any rotary symbols, I guess older rotary drivers didnt need the symbols to remind them what the hell kind of engine they had...

RX8 owners seem like a totally different breed to me, they never wave back and the ones ive talked to have barely a basic understanding of the engine "

Fvck them. I got curious about the guy with the RX-7 so I did a search on his name. He just recently bought it, and was asking all kinds of rotary n00b questions only a couple of months ago. So since he bought it, he's transformed into the rotary guru of that site. gimme a break.

seems like a guy who also owns an rx7 said that. i still don't see bunch of tiburon owners throwing insults at the 8; one or two people's opinions don't constitute the general consensus. you're getting unnecessarily worked up over nothing.

heh, im on the fence on the color issue there. on one hand, i feel white really lacks personality and sports cars just look better in the classic sports car colors.

on the other hand, pearl white is an awesome color when you see it in person. when i was shopping for an 8 and a dealer told me 05 had white it made me stop and reconsider my black or red only buying conditions.

truthfully, while white sucks on other cars, its pretty unique and distinctive on an 8, or most any sports car for that matter. anyhow, thats my opinion at least.
