ABS warning light - New Tires?
 

Replaced the orginal tires last week with Toyos, same original rims,
Monday pulled up to a stop light and my automatic skid control came on and so did my ABS warning Looks like a circle, with two broken circles and ABS in the center.

I pulled the car over, turned everything off - restart, but the clutch did not want to go into drive. Figured the engine was warm enough to risk a second restart and sure enough everything worked fine and no warning then, at the first stop the warnings were there again. Drove home with them on - will seek dealer after holiday-

But - what are the chances new tires are at fault? Could it be electric system bug?
Any other ideas - and how serious is this???

Yes, I checked the manual - that's why I suspect tires, and no, a search had nothing on ABS...

They may have loosened the connector for one of the ABS plugs on the back one of the hubs. Probably just need to plug it back in tightly. I would take it back to the guys that put the tires on and have them put it back on the rack and check those connectors.

Bingo........probably knocked it loose when changing tires. Make sure you look to see that they didn't damage any wires. If you have jack stands, you can probably do this without having to pull the tires back off.
