30k Warranty Check
 

I bought my 8 last october and it had only 24k miles on it, however its an '04... Right now I'm at 37k (lotta highway driving for work) and still have not had the time to bring it in for the 30k check-up, and also got some advice that If the car is running fine, I should hold off on bringing it in... However, since the recalls we're published before I bought mine, I was curious if I could simply call a Mazda dealer, tell them my VIN number and they could tell me whether the recalls have already been performed.

A Mazda dealer can help you out if you provide the vin. You can also run a carfax report on it to find out but that will cost you.

Are you referring to routine maintenance? That has nothing to do with recalls and service bulletins. I hope I'm not reading your post correctly, because if you're taking your car in for "services" only when it's running like crap, then your 8 will be running like crap in no time.
