30k service
hi i baught my car about half year ago and when i baught it it had 27k miles. when i baught the car i did all the fluid change myself i mean.. everything, and i have been taking care of the car all by myself. now the car has 33k miles on it and everything seems good. so the question is does anyone know what exactly do they change or fix at the 30k service? do i reallly NEED to take it in the dealership n have them do it?

Check the manual for things you missed

It's pretty much fluid and filter changes, and taking a general look at stuff like the fan belt. At 35K, you change spark plugs.
If you've been doing your own oil changes, there is nothing you can't do yourself. IMHO, the limiting factor is whether you have a place to work where you can safely lift the car to get under it for the transmission and rear end oil change. There are DIYs on this site for all of it. There's a chart in the owner's manual listing everything. Do you have one? If not, you can download one from Mazda by registering in the owner's section of their web site. Ken |
