2nd replacement engine

I have a 2004 GT 6spd , I recently had my engine replaced due to lack of compression as soon as the swap happened I was having a misfire I went to Mazda paid them 250$ for a engine inalysis , they said coils need to be replaced so i did as they said another 1000km passed and it got worse and worse and now is back at Mazda where it has already spent 2 months put of our Canadian 5 months summer/spring , another lack of compression. Anyone else hear the tell of this? And should Mazda refund my $250 for a wrong diagnostic ?

I had my engine replaced at about 140K klms.
The replacement engine wasn't right from the start, since I had replaced everything else before the swap they went to a compression check.
The front rotor was at half compression, I only got 3,000 klms. on it before the test.
You may or may not have needed new coils (Mazda needs to go through their procedure).
I would request a compression check, some of the replacement remans have been known to be bad right out of the box.
btw, the engine I have now is running amazingly (the 3rd).
Just a suggestion; when/if they are doing a replacement again have the throttle completely cleaned before the install.

I would try for the $250.00 bucks back...................yes.

I replaces the coils and now the car waits at mazda, im feeling like the car is a lemon and it just needs a new repair every week

why is it still there?

Wait for the engine to arrive, last time the car was at mazda it was there for a month and a half hopefully it wont take that long this time

Remanufactured Mazda engines are a gamble.
I wouldn't want to take such a gamble in my car since there are many shops that can provide better builds and services, shorter wait times etc. Things change if there's a warranty claim involved but the wait is still too long imho.
Good luck with the 3rd engine and get the 250$ back!
