Here she is. I've been an RX-8 fan for years. And this Monday I got this brand new 2009 R3 for 26K. Been happy so far. And so has my local Exxon station! |

Looks good! I do like the R3 in blue.

I'm surprised I'm the first to say...
Slam that b*tch! |
Almost a week and I still love her. However, I have noticed the "marbles in a can" in the dash near the glove box sound today. Nothings perfect!
|
You need to lower it because it's way too much wheel gap, and it doesn't handle very well with it's soft factory setup. You also need an exhaust system to make it louder. The stock exhaust sounds very uninspired. You should also debadge. Also remember that getting wider tires than what the suspension was setup for is also a great idea. i think 255 is about right. Lowering it will also result in less scrapes and less hassle on everyday roads/parking lots/driveways. Oh ya and all mods are very inexpensive!!
Remember, the stock r3 is one the best handling, most impressive feeling sportscar you can get, so the first thing you should do of course is to change the suspension setup!! |
MIAC fix for you

Your dealer should take care of it under warranty. |
Yes, I'm actually probably older than most of you guys. Mods aren't something I look for all that much these days. This is my comfortable daily driver and I've got a1990 MX-5 that is already lowered and harsh. I don't need two cars like that.

I will be going with wider tires all the way around, but that's about it for now... |
