2007 RX8 Touring - Considering purchase
 

I am considering the purchase of a 2007 RX8 with 34k miles on it. I absolutely love this car, but am somewhat concerned with problems in the 2004-2006 models. It appears that Mazda corrected many of the issues in the 2007 model, but I can only find very limited info online. Does anyone have experience with the 2007 model?

I have an '06, which has been trouble free. A bunch of PITA issues of '04, '05 were fixed by '06. Those included lack of an AC condensor rock screen, frangible heater control and sun visors, black washer tank, undersized starter. The final ECU flashes (4206f and MSP16) were phased in during '06.

'07 is still Series I, but would have all that that stuff from the beginning. Reliability had improved to the point that Mazda only needed to provide a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty, rather than the 4 years for previous models.
