Sup guys, I just recently purchased the coolant reservoir on my rx8, I've noticed that when you flipped over the tank there's a lil noise coming from inside, sounds like a loose thing or something. Is it normal? I got it from mazmart

It's probably the float moving around inside the tank, since the float is hinged to move up and down based on gravity vs bouyancy

 

It's probably the coolant level float switch. ^

 

So I guess its normal?, It's color black btw

 

the bottle should be an opaque plastic with a bit of a yellowish green tint to it. I've never seen a black one. Though that doesn't mean that a black one is bad, just that you can't easily see the coolant level.
