1st gear

is it just me, or does anyone else find that first gear doesnt pull as much as 2nd gear does when you floor it???

It has to do with the smoothness of the rotary.

The pull isn't really "different", it's more a result of 2nd and 3rd starting at higher RPM. 1st gear has to run thru the full rev band. 2 & 3 get the luxury of starting @ ~3-6K.

You may also get more wheel spin in first gear than in higher gears which would lessen your acceleration.
