05 switchblade key on an 04
 

Hey guys I'm new here and I was wondering if I ordered the 05 switchblade key/remote from here:

Would it work on my 04? I noticed the switchblade key on Mazdaparts said it worked on 04's but it is more than twice as much.

I plan on getting it cut at Ace Hardware and then programming everything myself. Thanks for your help.
