Last Minute Information Needed ... FAST (2008 Dragon Event)

The planning has begun for this years 2008 BOTD, but we need your input! Many of us are wondering what things are really important to you. Since many of these questions are more than just a "check this box" answer please answer in "cut and paste" form so that we can share with the other BOTD board members.

1.) We have the oppotunity to have fully catered dinners at BOTD this year, complete with a full sit down dining room. The meals include a salad, entree, dessert, and drinks. The meals are all you can eat and are of restaurant quality, not "lunch room" quality.

Would you be willing to pay about $55 dollars for four meals?

2.) What are the top 3 things you feel are important factors that would give you the most satisfaction from BOTD from this list?

-- Excursions
-- Accomodations
-- Food and Beverage
-- Awards Ceremony
-- T-Shirts
-- Meet and Greet Activities
-- Prizes
-- Lowest Possible Price

3.) Using the same list, what are the three LEAST important factors that really make no difference to your enjoyment of BOTD.

4.) Would you be willing to spend $100 on registration if it covered all four meals?

5.) What would you like to see different about BOTD this year, than from prior years.

Thanks gang! Please post your responses as soon as you can!

Maybe, how good is the food?

A driving school of some sorts would be nice. Rob needs to learn how to keep up

Registration will get you on the list, then you have to pay for your cabin.

Registration also helps cover the extra stuff...t-shirts, nametags, trophies, prizes....then it allows you to get the discounted price from Nantahala. Larger discounts for early registrations.

i thought thats what the raffles were helping to pay for. either way for $100 that better be some damn good food.:)

$100 is a bit steep. I herd that people liked BOTD alot better than DGRR, because you get alot more at BOTD, and the registration is cheaper. I would be willing to pay around 75.

I think ( and don't quote me) some of the reason the registration may be higher is because the RAFFLES are not moving as fast. There are deadlines that have to be met in order to reserve the space needed to accommodate us all. I've never been to Nantahala, but from what our local club members that went to the DGRR said it is an awesome resort.

maybe if we can get more people to participate in more raffles it MIGHT bring the cost down. I am not on the board so I don't know the facts, but it makes sense.

The gas card raffle is for any station. I don't know why ya'll dont spend $4.00 to possibly save 250.00??
