Still nothing real?

When my 8 blew apex seals, and grinded to a stop, I put it on jacks, threw a cover on it, and waited for someone to develop a engine swap kit for a Miata motor or even an LS, I'm game for whatever works. That was in 2014 and I refer back to my post title, still nothing? Nothing "off the shelf" , this kit and this motor.. . ?

So, how about rebuilt rotary (renesis) motors? Is there a source for repair parts for mine? Anyplace that can reliably rebuild or replace mine for less than 10K? I don't think the world needs another dude selling RX8 parts and taking the tax writeoff and calling Kars for Kids would do just that. What the world needs is more RX8s on the road but I can't spend 10 K to get it there. What to do.

What lol? There are reliable rebuilders across the country (and in other countries). Pineapple, Rotary Resurrection, Pettit.. Mazda sells engines too. Don't rebuild yours, just buy a known good rebuild.

As for V8 swaps.. Keisler Automation comes to mind, but there are others.

All this stuff was cheaper a couple of years ago, it's more expensive now.

thanks for the information. I'm certain it was cheaper a few years ago, I know I was . 😉
