nice build, really interested in how you go about getting it wired up. you planning to keep the drive by wire throttle?

MaD666MaX 07-24-2015 07:54 AM

Yes, everything exept ac will work like its supposed to. Im using the adaptronic pnp ecu.

F51 07-24-2015 08:18 AM

Awesome, Im planning to use adaptronic ecu too. I will be binning my A/C because its never really not enough in the uk to really need it.

You can see the TB mounted to the elbow in his pics.

Max is doing it right... REW is the way to go for anything north of 300rwhp.
This is gonna be a fun car! :Peace:

Im gonna use the adaptronic pnp ecu. The support with this ecu is good and its a modern unit compared to others. Its gonna control the engine and boost and oem ecu will do the rest of the car to keep oem functions. I have the full function trigger kit with a rx8 teeth patern so the oem ecu will work like it should. It will be tuned by derwin as well.

Any pics on how you're mounting the Renesis CAS to the REW cover?

MaD666MaX 07-27-2015 07:03 PM

Its a full fonction engineering kit for fd with rx8 teeth pattern

I would cut the top radiator pipe back some and make the silicone hose(s) longer to ensure flexibility and not stress the radiator fitting. Being that it's the engine coolant outlet rigidty is not a primary concern.

MaD666MaX 07-28-2015 06:20 AM

Thanks for the advice, ill take note. That beeing said, the engine wont move much but a little flex wont hurt

TeamRX8 07-28-2015 01:08 PM

you might be surprised how much things can twist and move around even with solid mounts

Heres where i am at the moment, couple of things to finalise and fill oils and coolant and its a start

yomomspimp06 09-05-2015 08:23 AM

diameter on turbo intake piping

MaD666MaX 09-05-2015 08:43 AM

Intake piping is 3.5"(because of maf), turbo inlet 4", charge pipe is 2.5"

GK1707 09-05-2015 08:43 AM

Nice! So you're running a surge tank or is it stock style just upgraded? Or did you do a return style system?

MaD666MaX 09-05-2015 09:20 AM

For now its gonna be stock upgraded fuel system(oem s2 assembly with denso 265 fuel pump(same as gtr r35 evox frs)

It should be good for 4xxwhp

I shortened the ss water pipe and put a longer silicone ;)

Now the only non flexible part is the turbo inlet, cannot find a reducer hump from 4 to 3.5

firecran 09-06-2015 02:40 PM

Getting close :beer05::beer05:

Most are rubber rather than silicone

assuming it's not on the boost side, which would require a charge air hose instead:

HPS 4-ply Aramid 3.5" 4" inch Charge Air Cooler CAC Silicone Hose turbo coolant 76mm 89mm diesel

MaD666MaX 09-06-2015 07:48 PM

Thanks team, will replace non hump one soon
