Just a little thread of my new to me RX-8 w/rew swap. Sold my FD and picked this up about a month ago. Its perfect for me cause i have to kids! and i get to stay rotary. I bought it about a month ago and i'm loving it!:D: I'm hoping to get better photos taking real soon. Well enjoy! awesome swap! Ive always wondered how people keep these swaps on the street since its illegal to put an older motor in a newer chassis...?

it varies in state about putting old motor in a new car i belive... so not all states have that law.

Some states or counties within them do not require you to smog your car so no one ever checks.

Sick. I have noticed a few of the REW swapped guys have the same ECU heat shield. Are all of these swaps being done by the same shop? This car was for sale here right?

Speed one built the car and they get all the credit! The build is done right! I always wanted to do a rew swap in a rx8 And then this pop up forsale. So I jumped on it. It's cheaper the buy someones upgraded car then you build it yourself. If it's done right and this cars is! Winner, winner chicken dinner! |

Yeah, thats what I'm buying next. Current wheels are 9.5" wide, not sure how wide I can go. Sticky tires will definitely help too. |
