S plan is like invoice +$200 or so. Look at a window sticker, they are all on there usually.

You can do better than that if you are willing to negatiate with the dealer. But it may be worth it to pay a few hundred dollars more to not go through with the process if you are eligible for the S-plan.

S-plan is invoice less $20 on the base price of the car. And 20% off all options.

I called Mazda Canada and they told me x-plan is not incule RX8. It was from a memo dated Nov 03. Not sure if that has been changed since.

We just purchased last week (here in the States) an RX-8 on the S (X)-Plan. The invoice was around $34k and the plan price was $29k+. There is no negotiating, the price is set and usually in tiny numbers on the sticker. This price is even less than what the dealer pays. Mazda sends the dealership 1.5% for the sale at the end of the year. You can get one pin number every 6 mos. and only 2 cars per year. Or at least this is what was explained to us by the accountant.
The accountant made sure the RX-8 was on the plan, and away we went!

You don't need to be an Ford Employee...as long as your company is a Ford Partner( provider, etc). Then you are quailify to be on one of the plan. You need to get a PIN number from the web site and give it to the dealer when you purchase the car. Some restriction apply which RX-8 is not on the plan in Canada the last I know.

Think long and hard about that one and see if it makes any sense. Wouldn't that be peachy for Ford/Mazda if the plan worked through referrals.

You have to get a partner code inordre to log in. They you can generate pin number from the site.

My husband works for Miller Corporation and are linked to Ford because they buy A LOT from Ford, GMC, etc. We asked the accountant that works for his company about the information.
Ford is the easiest plan. All you need is the PIN number. For GMC, you have to take a pay stub to the dealer. But Ford only requires the PIN number!

Partner means that your company either buys from (fleet vehicles like a police department or municipality) or sells to (supplies raw materials, energy, commodity) Ford.
