Who HASN'T recevied their $500 AMEX card yet?
 

and why?

i haven't received the confirmation letter either (obviously).

i've called MNAO and they can't find a record of receving my letter. if they can't find it they're gonna fax/send a new letter for me to send back...so no worries. (but i would like to get my mp3 player among other things someday soon. ;))

just wondering if anyone else is in a similar boat.

That's got to be frustrating. Just stay on them and make sure they get the card to you! I know I'd be pissed as hell if they told me that.

got a call from Sid at MNAO today:

apparantly he's got a list of a bunch of 8 owners that didn't receive their letters/cards and they're on top of fixing the situation. (apparantly there's a bunch of VINs and owner names/addresses getting mixed up...that's what he said.)

i'm waiting to hear back from him but he'll either be fixing it on his end or faxing me a new form to fax back to him signed. hopefully the turnaround of the latter would be quicker than what the "normal" wait was for people that already got their shutff..

i sent in mine pretty late, like 9/23 or 9/24 or something, should ic call? i haven't received any confirmation or anything yet (i'm keeping btw)

I have not received mine as well. I was told they had some mix up with AMEX and I should receive the card within 1-2 weeks.

Haven't gotten mine yet either; I called today (by the way, the RX-8 Owners Customer service 800 number just has a recording on it telling you to hang up and call Mazda's regular customer service 800 number) and was told that yes, they had received my letter on Oct. 1 but that they couldn't give me a date yet as to when my card would be mailed. He did say they were sending them out in "waves" ... so I imagine that those of us who procrastinated about sending our letter in will be the last to get the cards.

That's too bad, somehow I ended up with 5 AMEX cards! j/k

I haven't gotten my card either but they have received my paperwork. I guess I should give them another call. I sent my paperwork 3 days before deadline.

I haven't received mine either. I called MAzda customer service today and they said that it'll be there in 2-3 weeks. I asked them what if I need to do the 1st service or oil change b4 the card arrives. They said that Mazda dealer can look up your vin number which has been flagged. If you have done any oil change etc.., save the receipt and mail to mazda, and they will reimburst (sp) it.

I still want my $500 tho :(

I have not received my card yet. I called to confirm that my letter was received. They said they had it and my documents would be a month away. That time is getting close.

They confirmed receipt of my letter on Oct 1. No sign of a card yet, however I did take advantage of the free service (5000 miles) last week so at least that parts working. Guess I better call them.
