Herzog Meir will honor X-Plan!!
 

I know I posted earlier regarding this plan and it was stated
that the RX-8 is not available.

I just got off the phone with Herzog Meir and they said they will
honor the X-Plan for all new Mazda vehicles, including the RX-8.
I'm going today around 4PM PDT to look at a black one.
Unfortunately it has been sold but if they really do honor the
plan I will place my order today! I will let you guys know if they
were lying to me.

I live just down the road too! I work in NW but I live with in
a few miles of the dealer ship. I'm off of Murry and Sexton Mtn.

They LIED
 

Herzog Meir totally lied to me!!! Matt the Sr. sales person (I only
make a point of this because he felt I needed to know) who
confirmed before I came down that the 8 was under the plan!!!!

He told me before I came down that they would open the
car and let me look at it. He lied about that too! What a
loser.

When I 1st get their he basically tells me the car is pre sold
but a deal could still be worked out. WTF? How is that possible.
What even makes it more confusing is they would not open
the doors to the car, but somehow and I quote, "I'm sure I
could twist someones arm and to make a deal". Ok, please
let me buy this car that I'm not allowed to sit in or drive.

i live in NE by lloyd center but work in beaverton. went by and checked it out. nobody was around and i only took a couple minutes to look as i was supposed to be working;) it looks really good in black but the car was knida dirty. it looked like all they had done so far was pull of the plastic. i still think i made the right choice with silver even after seeing this black one and 3Rotor's red one. as i was leaving i saw someone walk over to look at it. stocky and dark hair. was that you?

I'm so pissed they lied to me. I spent time working with my credit
union getting everything ready. I was all set too! 0 down @ 4%.

matt is a really tall white guy that tried to open it and then realized it was locked? if so i saw that as i was driving out. i don't know when he became SR sales guy but i have never seen him before intheyear and a half or so of dealing with them. from now on only talk to larry (only car guy in the bunch) or chris meier. the rest just forget about.

That was him. I'm not sure if I want to give them my business.

yeah but truth is i wouldn't go there again. go over to Ron Tonkin and talk to ricky. real green salesguy but is okay. and the sales manager and another guy, general manager i think (can't remember his name right now and i should, he race drives a spec miata) helped find my car. Tell them Charlie sent you.

If you are with a company that allows you to use the X-plan on other vehicles then you can gain entry to the fordpartner.com site. That's where you can get your PIN buy with the plan. But on that site is a list of vehicles that are void from X-Plan pricing. Obviously the RX8 is one of them. Unless the dealer will match that price(not likely right now) don't believe a dealer that claims X-Plan prices are valid for the RX. Ford itself won't allow it at this time.

Unfortunately I do not have my pin # yet so I was taking the
word of the sales staff. I applied for it today with my company so
hopefully I will have it soon. As dumb as this sounds, I should
have been able to trust the sales person. The fact is they lied
just to get me in the door.

BTW Was your list complete? Because I also inquired about the
Mazda 6, V6. They informed that only the 4 cyl. was available.

I'm still irked by that sales person. I got my financing done and took time off of work. Oh well. Albeit 3 years later, I still purchased a BB RX-8 from them :uhh: :lol:
