A good buy ? Advice?

Hi,

brand new on here I currently have an a4 1.8t 2002 60k miles... and saw (see link below) at my local dealer. I though Rx-8 was alot more than this is this a good deal.
To me the plus is great car and I would be in Warrenty
Minus to me is no 4wd... Anyone with some unbiased or even just semi biased opinions?

Thanks in advance,

Oisin

what to do...

With the rebates ($4000) and other deals that can be made that end up with the 04's being sold below invoice, look new. You could probably not pay much more than that for the car you want assuming you can still find any '04s around.

As was mentioned, with $4k in rebates and dealers selling at or below invoice and THEN taking off the $4k - this does not appear to be a good deal. A sports pack car would be $22.5k new for a left over 04 at invoice, and you could do a better deal - so giving that much for a used one with 20k on the clock would not be wise.

If you can't find an 04 to buy, CarsDirect is showing below invoice on a new 05 if purchased through them. Not quite as good, but still a decent deal for a new 05.

That looks like a base model (didn't see fog lights) and 21K miles is a damn lot for 1 yr. Realistically, it probably wasn't abused too much, I figure the person had it and wasn't expecting such bad gas mileage for all that driving, so they got rid of it. Check that price vs. the blue book and see.
