too high mileage.
|
182k....if they are willing to duct the cost of replacing a new rotor+labor, witch would be around 5k?
|
regardless, that's still a lot of miles.
do you have the money/time/resources to replace a rotary engine? |
Don't do it! Find another one with less miles for sure.
|
If you really want, just make sure u got extra 5k lying around...
It's your money, your ride, not ours. |
Pass...mileage is too high...yur better off with the car u have now
|
112,000 miles is still a lot, albeit better than the previous car you mentioned.
Looking through Cinci's CL, there seem to be a number of RX-8's in your price range with less miles. |

Right, I have to go through a lot though. I didn't get approved for a loan through my credit union without a cosign (my first actual car I'll be buying on loan) so I can't do a private sale.
If you have tight finances, you SHOULD NOT buy a used RX-8 with this kind of mileage, from a dealer or not. You are setting yourself up for potential financial troubles if you do. A 100k+ mile car can potentially have a lot of expenses in its future. A 100k+ mile SPORTS CAR DOES have a lot of expenses in its near term future. Skip the RX-8 until you can afford it in the future. Your wallet will thank you in time. BC. |
^ VERY sound advice!

Stay patient, you definitely want to stay away from any 8's with that high of mileage.
