I'd buy a pre 1976 so you do not have to worry about DEQ :)

Is just being 30+ years old not enough these days?

I believe Oregon is anything before 1976. It is not rolling years like other states.

I would get a pre-'76, but the Cress was only sold '77-'80. Not too worried about DEQ though, gonna take a weekend and rebuild the engine before I even really drive it around.
