Hello All!

I'm up in Bellingham, WA and just got pre-approved for financing for an RX-8. I'm looking to buy late September through early October if at all possible.

I'm putting out my feelers here, but I will be firming this up as we approach the end of the month.

This will be my first RX-8, but my fourth rotary powered vehicle. I've owned three FB's previously (modified '83 GS, stock '85 GSL-SE, modified '84 GSL-SE). I've been reading through RIWWB's fantastic "FAQ's" and just getting a feel for the group here at RX8Club.

For private party sells I'll be looking for someone that's willing to meet me at a Whatcom Educational Credit Union (ideally in Everett depending on where the car/seller is) to get the paperwork/payment taken care of on the spot.

I'm a new member to this forum, but I've been over at RX7Club for years and years now (since '03 or '04 I want to say, same screen name). I'm 29, male, and am looking for someone that's willing to work with a fellow rotary addict (as I'll need a compression/vacuum test and have lots of questions!).

Anything other than a manual transmission and the vehicle being in good mechanical condition is negotiable (I'll consider the right '04 honestly). I'm looking for a grey colored RX-8 if feasible, leather would be nice but again, nothing I must have. I'm trying to avoid the Grand Touring edition as I really just don't need all that stuff (and I don't want to pay for it, or remove it).

This will essentially be an early birthday present to myself, and a nice way for me to get back into the rotary scene after being away for far far too long! (I'm itching to take a Renesis for a spin as I was last behind a bone stock FC GXL and even that was a blast for me.)
