It will work either way - street tuning is more about finding all the bugs and ensuring your set-up is good.... plus tuning the low load and cruise areas.

Oh goodness, you know all about my cruise loads. So I drove back from Seattle this morning at around 60-70 mph I was begged 11.2. So I just decided I minus well go all out and just boosted all 75 miles back home!:wiggle:

For future ref Kane at the dyno ill prob be a bird on your shoulder picking your brain at random stuff.
I want to understand more tuning aspect. |
^ he's got some pretty good threads on it now. have you checked those out?
|
Not a problem folks - I love to talk cars (in case you can't tell) - so it is no sweat off my back.
Might cost a beer or two though..... :D: |
If you guys go up to Bellingham and I don't join you these are my favorite places up there:
http://www.bbaybrewery.com/ - For food and beer http://www.yelp.com/biz/jaccis-fish-and-chips-bellingham - For just food (obviously fish and chips) http://www.yelp.com/biz/mallard-ice-cream-bellingham (although I've never been here due to my lack of lactase enzyme) There's a ton of little places to hang out, you can pretty much walk into any place in fairhaven and find a decent hang out. Le Chat Noir in Fairhaven is a good place for light eats and brews/wine. If any of you guys are into oysters the couple places on Chuckanut Drive are supposely very good, although I never went there due to my light college wallet. If you don't go there to eat, at least drive on the road. I guess I'm suggesting all this because it might buy you more time to hang out if you just hang out in Bellingham? |

Well hopefully we can do the street tuning and anything that might pop up in the Seattle area. Then the next morning drive to B-Ham for the actual dyno tuning. So we will have time to party in Seattle on the 10th.

Okay guys its official. I have booked Kane's flight just now. He will be arriving in Seattle on Sept 10th at around 10am. We will then street tune and grab lunch. So if anyone wants to plan a dinner get together with drinks, etc for the night of the 10th feel free. Although on the morning of the 11th me and Kane are heading up to Bellingham for the dyno tune.

/\ make sure you get your wastegate /boost control sorted BEFORE you go to the dyno . I'm sick of hearing "boost dropped off because blah blah blah " every time some gets dynoed .
|
This is true... I just emailed Faille to see about maybe all meeting at his crib for BBQ etc.
I shall bring my A game. |
I may meet you guys at the dyno...it's only 20 minutes from home and Friday is my day off......
Probably better to miss out on the drinking anyway...my stomach will thank me for it :) |
