Snowing in Beaverton

Looked outside and to my surprise a bunch of fluffy snow flakes dropping. Doubt it will stick but sure looks awesome right now.

Ahhh..., Spring is coming!

Oh man I just thought of the Siskiyou's! I hope I do not have issues crossing the pass next week when going to Cali.

What kind of tires you running?

pdxhak 02-16-2011 01:17 PM

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110. They are decent in the rain but not sure about cold and slushy or cold and snow. They are an Ultra High Performance tire and I'd expect them to suck in the snow :D:

Yeah same thing this morning in Milwaukie when I walked outside. Didn't stick though :)

Crazy weather lately

Nice! I used to live in Evergreen, CO. Elevation is 7200 ft so I know what living in snow is :D:

Im in the military so I only have 2 postings in canada, and both of them have snow lol... and the rest is europe and the states, I can't wait to get posted out where I can drive year round.

snow was forecasted for today but it's beautiful out!

It was sticking when I went to work yesterday. Had 1/2 - 3/4 inch on the neighborhood streets. My Hankooks did fairly okay in my neighborhood and on the slushy highway. I just had to drive very mellow. It was hard to even make it slide more than a few inchs on the back streets before the tracktion control kicked in.

Thanks for the info L8tr. Makes me feel better about crossing the Siskiyous :)

No prob, but I think I would still be a little worried about the Siskiyous. :scared:

That's quite different than my flat neighborhood streets at 15mph.
