My 8 has not left the parking lot since last Sunday, up here we have had way more snow than you down south. And its my only car at the moment.

Maybe u dont understand, My car will high center we have like 10 inchs of snow. I have to go down a slight incline for my driveway, than it go goes up. My speed3 was driving ok before snow got too high. I had to drive higher gears than normal while going slow to not break traction. Needless to say one of the cars is going as soon as it gets nice, and there will be a truck joining the family. I hate not being able to get around, and I've wanted to get one anyways.

Mine has turned into a sleeping beauty, with occasional wake-up warm up =D

dannobre 12-22-2008 04:33 PM

Can't tell what kind of car mine is..it has a foot of snow all over it

Thank God for the truck...4X4's suck a lot of the time..but they rock in this stuff :)

tubingchamp 12-22-2008 04:46 PM

Yeah, the snows upto my knees at my house.

Thank god my cars safe in the garage :)

I had bad cabin fever yesterday, so decided to venture to the grocery store. I have almost bald all seasons - hey, why not?! I actually made it to the store and back, but got stuck halfway into my cul-de-sac, which has a slight incline. Luckily 2 of my neighbors were outside and they were able to push me to my driveway. I won't be going anywhere for a while....

tunerwannab 12-22-2008 11:29 PM

We have about 10in at my house but I move the car every day so it is easier to get it out. I got stuck trying to park at work today though. I had to move the snow behind the car so I could go backwards first.

AngryBumblebee 12-23-2008 02:20 AM

the county actually plowed the roads!!!! I might be driving to work tomorrow. I just hope this crap is gone for the MM tune and meet day!!

and1kidd 12-23-2008 01:08 PM

Yeah mine is sleeping peacefully in Queen Anne. We had about 8-10in.

Sacrifice 12-23-2008 03:54 PM

Get ready for 6" more of snow!!!

AngryBumblebee 12-23-2008 04:26 PM

got to work today fine. I'm looking foward to this snow goin away!

kristopher_d 12-23-2008 05:32 PM

I ventured out for another business meeting today. I didn't have too much issue with traction, but damn the semi-icy roads are rough. And Redmond needs to buy a damned snow plow already.

dondo 12-23-2008 06:01 PM

yeah getting down avondale was a pain but 520 and 405 are great

ANIBALRX8 12-23-2008 10:25 PM

That is why my wife has a Suzuki SX4 awd and I have a snow car, hyndai scoup turbo 91. Angelica has been staying warm in my New garage for the past week and its staying there for the next week. Then i will take her out, to strech her legs. But not to much seens I have Summer tires.

But I have to say, I am very impress with the SX4. I had to go to tacoma, and I was going 45MPH on 512 and I-5 and the car was great!!! very good feeling of the road, specialy sence I was passing SUV that cost twice as much!!!

Nydted1 12-24-2008 11:12 AM

I managed to get out yesterday as well. I could get around just fine on the roads but the neighborhood roads I live on are 6 inches of ice. That was rough. And now we just got another 3 inches and it's still snowing! I keep wishing for 40+ degree weather to move in so it all melts!

By the way, my car sits extremely dirty in my garage. No snowbound car in my driveway!

When the weather is nicer, take it to an auto detailing place and they should be able to buff it out for ya. Might not be cheap but it will be cheaper then new paint.

RedLine9x 12-24-2008 10:49 PM

kristopher_d 12-24-2008 11:41 PM
