wow! you guys got a long drive. good luck and see you at sevenstock!

pdxhak 06-01-2009 10:19 AM

Yep I'm planning to go :) Unless work or home life throws me a curve ball, I'm going! Of course just that happened the last two times :uhh:

Anijo 06-01-2009 10:19 AM

We'll see... I'll have to think about it. It's a long drive and I'd probably have to take time off from work.

tunerwannab 06-01-2009 10:39 AM

I hope I can make it also. I have to get some paint work done and was hoping to buy a couple goodies before the so we will see.

Also should we make it a two day drive or just haul balls and do it in a day?

dondo 06-01-2009 11:10 AM

it's a long drive man, but can be done. i drove from here to Baltimore without stopping before so it's def possible

pdxhak 06-01-2009 11:19 AM

Just need some blue tape and mt dew to make the drive ;)

AngryBumblebee 06-01-2009 06:38 PM

id prolly leave day before...

tunerwannab 06-01-2009 06:51 PM

If I go I might leave wed night and drive till about 6pm or later on thurs then crash untill early Friday.

zoom44 06-01-2009 09:52 PM

ill be there but might bring the whole family and head down a few days early as a Disney trip for 4 year old Henry. Danobre is going down. seattle area guys will probably want to leave wednesday and portlanders on thursday. meet up with the norcal guys friday morning.

RawrX8 06-01-2009 10:41 PM

Debating this one. I might have to pull some strings. Time to start saving up. Im sure my ass would feel like a night in prison after that drive in my Sparco seat.

RawrX8 06-02-2009 08:41 AM

Figure it would take about 22hrs non stop. Leave thursday afternoon and just bomb down with a big Costco case of Red Bull in the trunk. Stop some where around the Oregon/Cali border and sleep. Rail down friday morning and play on the beach while the rest of the group rolls into town. Sounds like a good idea to me.

pdxhak 06-02-2009 08:57 AM

How far north are you? I'm thinking it should be around 16 - 17 hours from Seattle.

tunerwannab 06-02-2009 09:22 AM

Map quest says 18 hours from my house in puyallup. I would go father thatn the cali border the first day, Maybe 2 or 3 hours into cali.

Knee deep. It said like almost 19 hours but give the account of traffic too. Thats my plan if I drive. Id like to leave wed and spend a day in the sun chasing hot girls on the beach. I guess that means I need to tan my ghost skin. :uhh: Thats "IF" I even drive, I might just fly.

dondo 06-02-2009 03:07 PM

you gotta have the car though..

Well if I fly cause I cant take time off from work than ill ask around down south if someone would be nice enough to snag me up from the airport in return for drinks and dinner.

tunerwannab 06-02-2009 04:12 PM

If its not to far to the airport I'll pick you up. If I go of coarse.

tunerwannab 06-02-2009 04:19 PM

Are you going Dondo? I figured about $415 for gas from my house. I just figured 18mpg and $3.00 a gallon. I hope for better than 18 but the best I have ever gotten is 19.38. :(

Anijo 06-02-2009 05:23 PM

6th gear @ 70-80 on the way home from Portland I got 21.3mpg, so it's still gonna be a bunch of money.

RawrX8 06-02-2009 05:24 PM

And ill be sitting on the beach drinking beer waiting for you guys.

pdxhak 06-02-2009 05:30 PM

Assuming you guys get 275 miles per tank then expect it to take 4.3 tanks of gas each way.

dondo 06-02-2009 06:07 PM

^ who gets that? I get 240 max but i also never let the light come on....

also, this is way too far in the future for me to plan for....
