Pinnacle Mazda going out of business?
 

I saw a big "Going out of business" ad in the Seattle Times for Pinnacle Mazda of Renton. I had noticed a few days ago an ad from Auburn Mazda (I think) offering to take on the service needs of folks that were using Pinnacle, even throwing in a free oil change.

Yet, Pinnacle's web site, http://www.pinnaclemazda.com/ , makes no mention of their upcoming demise. Poor web design or sleazy business practice?

Anyone hear about this? Will it still be a Mazda dealership, under a new name?

Yeah I drove by the area and saw the big banner saying that. I wonder if there will still be a Mazda dealership since THAT one used to be Sound Mazda a few years ago and if it is going to be under 'new management' then I dunno what's the deal with that business practice.

Maybe it's a bad spot being in that highly congested corner.

You hear it on the radio, they are ditching all their current inventory, though i have heard that before... hence the see it before i believe it thing. (Alot of businesses have been going out of business for quite a few years.) =)

there was a local furniture store when I lived in orlando, that used to have an "annual going out of business sale"

I don't know why people fall for that.

could that be the ultimate reason for them to close down their business ?:dunno:

It is too bad they were my main supplier for OEM parts.

"I can now finally answer the rumours and speculation.
Our Mazda Franchise has been sold. There are many factors that led the ownership to this decision but you should know that Ron and I have been very grateful to the rotory community for the support and freindships we have developed.

I don't know who is buying it yet, but I understand it is staying in the Renton Area. I'll be staying with S&K Enterprises and working with the Sound Ford folks. I'll still be involved with racing on a personal level with my loud RX7, once in awhile.

Soo.. If you want a serious deal on my remaining Redline oil, or other products, see me soon! The Racetech seat and belt will be at Pacific Raceway Saturday. Anyone out of the area that wants a chance to bid on them... contact me, we'll try to accomodate.

Thanks again for being the great bunch you are. We wanted to thank the community in our own way, and that is why we went forward with the raffle for autismspeaks and support of this weekend's race event. Remember to contact me for raffle tickets SOON... it's a great cause and fun prizes.
