Sure. There's the Targa BC coming up.
Also There is a Friday night rally club where the challenge is all about reading the cryptic directions to try and figure out the actual route. |
I'm about to get fridays off, I think I might try to check it out.

Here it is. http://www.targacanadawest.com/
They have some really reasonable bottom classes where it's basically stock cars with helmets and a first aid kit and you can run. It's bracket racing so you need to average a fairly laid back speed. Of course if it's raining and twisty that may not be that laid back. |
^ Man, does that seem fun. I won't be able to make this years, but this will definately be in the back of my mind as something I will plan on doing some time.
Man what's the deal with all the newbs living in WA? I need more members (read active members) here in Portland! Sad panda...
you just need to come play up here. i got impatient and installed my sways/end links/fog lights this weekend btw. still have an ac compressor project but i may not tackle that myself after learning more about it this week.....
Sure looks that way. I worked on my car over the weekend as well.

Emails are really delayed. I wonder if they are impacted with that virus that was going around the last days...
yeah mine have been trickling in all day..
I'll be back soon enough, and that'll be one more re-active member. I still have a shit load of parts to install....so my half days of work will be on the post lifts except for thursdays.
Getting ready to marinade some ribs for later. After that heading outside to clean up the garage and do some yard work and then work on the car a bit.
Just got back from the NW Alfa Club Bremerton performance driving day. It was excellent. The car and the skills really came together today. The Z1 star specs are excellent with the suspension setup. I was really able pound through the s curves. With the new fuel pump I could left tern as long as I wanted as hard as I wanted. :)
nice man. i forgot you were going to that event.
So I don't think I'm going to have time to put together an April thread until this weekend, but I seem to remember there being events that first weekend (April 2nd-4th)... I think it was Alfa and BMW?
Next Porsche Skills day is April 17th and I think I'm going to be bringing a lot of people... should be a good time :) |
Just not enough hours in the day! I'm slammed at work and at home. My car habit is having to take a backseat
You made it on here though! That's better then nothing!

Hmmm.... Careful wording or a typo?
my car has to go to the doctor tomorrow though. it has an appointment to diagnose its ac issues. i have a new ac compressor, clutch, belt, pulley but may need a new condenser if i got debris in the system at all... we shall seeeeeeeee. too many variables/ways to screw up for me to do it myself this time.. |
