Probably wasn't me then... I don't have a yellow hat. I was wearing a camo military style hat the other day though that has like a gold painted crown or something I was probably wearing it backwards. The rear brake light has the RX-8 emblem in it if that helps. Well if you see me say hi.

Bumping this old thread because I have seen a lot more 8's in the area
Today I saw two VR's and a WB today. A blonde woman at Hart and Murray. The other VR w/Borla exhaust parked at Cedar Hills mall by Golf Galaxy. The WB was an auto going south at Cedar Hills and crossing Walker.
Also a BB with chrome wheels driving on Hart and Murray last week. Another BB on 125th by the Rec Center. And a TiG in the Cooper Mountain area.

I'm in the Beaverton area right near Murray and Hwy 26. I hadn't seen any for at least the first 2-3 weeks I had owned mine, but now all of a sudden, they're popping up everywhere
Although most of the time i see them parked so haven't gotten a chance to meet any of the owners yet.
I did honk at a lady behind a blue 8 but there didn't get any kind of response
The bbq idea for the summer sounds good!

I've not seen too many in Hillsboro. Odd part is Royal Moore is always selling them. More in Beaverton. However, there is this guy at PCC who also has a AT TiG 8 with glued on carbon fibre covering the turn signals and brush painted "smoked" tail lights. Really the only other one I ever see.
Guess I gotta come out to P-Town more.

yeah it was great getting a chance to meet and talk with you Sunday
Once the weather gets dry again i'll be taking my 8 up skyline for some runs just to get some practice in and familiarize myself some more with the 8

Hello
Hello all,
Yes, it could be mine. I traded in my Acura TSX to 2007 RX8 Black sport model last winter.
I live in Beaverton (near Weir Rd) and commute to Aloha. Every now and then, encounter red RX8.

Pir?
I am far from being a racer but would like to know the best route to drive at PIR.
I looked at the PIR schedule and it seems it will run about $250 to 'race' there?
I also hear from my co-worker I could race in a club day such as Porsche club.
I figure I ought to ask here since there must be alot of you think like I do.
Any thought?

Check out cascadesportscarclub.org for events. First time out you will need to take a class at PCC before attending the HPDE.
I'm hoping to attend June and September

More 8's floating around!
TiG in my neighborhood with a license plate cover that says Military Police.
I saw zoom44's car at the Washington Square Mall this morning. His license plate gave him away
Parked across from zoom was a red 8. BTW there are two red 8's running around with blond ladies driving them. I used to think they were the same person until one was following me and the other passed me going the opposite direction

I keep seeing them all over the place lately, too. There's a black one that also works at Kaiser, but haven't managed to see him face to face yet. The best I've managed was to see his car parked near mine in the lot and then another day on my way into the parking lot for work he was leaving and apparently has no idea what stop signs are for as he nearly hit me. Grrrr!!!!! LOL! Also saw a yellow one there about two weeks ago coming from the road where the ER is at. Had a license plate that said "RX-8."
I'm at Washington Square a lot. One of my ways of killing time in the mornings before work if I've been at Robbie's (he lives a few minutes from there, about two blocks from where Capital Hwy. and Barbur Blvd. meet) and have to move my car so he can get out of the driveway to go to work. I can't fall back to sleep if I have to wake up that early and do that many things that require thought, so I just get dressed and go wander around the mall with my latte for a few hours.

I see the same older lady driving a VR with the appearance package every few days here in Newberg. Ive decided since my 8 dropped so much in value, combined with me not driving it for 3 weeks then getting behind the wheel, that I'm keepin it. We need to do a meet soon.
