Hey, all, I moved here (Snohomish County) in December, and it made me cry, but I left my 2006 RX-8 Sport behind Now I'm ready to start looking for my next one! If anyone has any tips on where to find one and what dealership knows how to work on them, I'd really appreciate it. I'm looking for a manual, not an automatic, preferably a GT this time. (I really prefer the leather seats and would love a sunroof.)

I'd be interested in some meet ups, too, which I'm hoping things will come back to life now that the weather is getting nicer (and people are getting vaccinated. lol) Looking forward to getting back in an 8, I miss it like crazy!

 

Hey Beth! Hope all is well! I know it's been over a year since you posted, but welcome to the PNW! I hope you're liking it. Did you ever find another RX8 to replace your 2006? I just listed mine for sale. I'm selling my house and everything I own and going on the road in my small trailer for a while. Getting older and want to do it while I still can. I hate selling my 8, but it doesn't make sense to keep it anymore. I have a Jeep as a tow vehicle and it's pretty cushy, so I don't drive the 8 as much sadly.

Are you north of Seattle? I haven’t had a good excuse to cross the line since the rest of my wife’s close family moved to Vancouver area just prior to the plague. Her aunt is coming for dinner next week from Bellingham which is pretty close by. Nice the border is open.

I’ve seen a few decent looking RX8’s for sale on the Facebook RX8CLUB group. Good luck getting another.
