i could be down as well. i like the idea of cheap dynos
|
You guys who haven't been there should definitely check it out. FP is one of the better, if not, a best import shops around with 3 of the coolest guys in the industry!
:) |
Have you had any work done by them?

I'll make a prediction. Pdxhak and myself will be there, and no other 8's will show. Come on, prove me wrong!
|
Maybe - it would be awesome to go on over to the track in Grass Meadow also.

I don't have rotary car anymore though. |
I might be able to make this. $40 for 3 pulls you cant beat that.
|
Im 99.99% going to go. Im going to leave Friday after work and make the TnT at PIR that night. Hopefully I wont run into hell traffic like I did my last Portland trip. If anyone wants to drive down with me friday let me know.
|
Are all the slots full for the dyno?
|
Never mind - I see they will not make a list until the day of the meet. I think I will come down to see how my decarbing has improved things.
|
I plan to dyno my car. Last time it was on the dyno the shop had issues with my car so I'm thinking the numbers were not correct. Also I have new OE coils and plugs.
I am hoping Aipex8 puts his car on the dyno as well because he has a reman from the place sleepy-z works at. |
When they say BBQ, I hope they really mean BBQ and not just grilled dogs and burgers.. LOL

If I head down friday come out to PIR and run your car with me. You can get a 99% accurate hp number by a pass down the strip. Than compare it with the dyno. I want to see if the added K&N and straight pipe give me 1-2 MPH extra. Not like thats a big deal but its better than losing MPH.

I'm not really into drag racing and not sure how well my car would hook up. But maybe I will run just 1 or 2 times just to see.
It is $35 +$10 PIR registration fee if you haven't already figured that out. Its also a lot cheaper than doing a few dyno pulls to get your HP rating. If your not paying someone to tune your car thats the best way to find your HP. Plus its a lot more fun. Be amazing if it was like last time I was down there. 35+ passes before I headed out at 9pm. Was so worth the money. My tires didnt think so :Eyecrazy: |
So who is all going for sure? I am thinking of trying to make it down there...
|
I'm 50/50 since my car is all torn apart right now... But, if it is real BBQ and there are rotaries involved, and if I can get a slot on the dyno...
Lots of if's for me it seems. |
i'm planning on being there. kevin, you can do it man! come hang out.
|
If I make it, I will bring my compression testers with me in case somebody wants to use them.
|
nice! maybe we can meet up somewhere down south by you and head in together.
