Alternatives to factory fuel siphon system...

Long story short, i want to remove the entire fuel assembly out of the fuel tank and install my own in-tank pump/pumps and make a return style system. My FPR will be up in the engine bay. However my issue is, if i do this, how would i get the fuel from my passenger side of the fuel tank to the drivers side of the fuel tank without the factory siphon setup. Are there any alternatives to the factory setup?

you just gotta be creative, its not that hard to do.

I am curious if I can remove the siphon portion of the assembly and still run it off of the new in tank pump. After looking at a few pics, I think it will still work without the regulator and the rest of the pump assembly. The siphon would just run off the one pump and would not have anything to do with the second pump or even the third if it was ever needed down the road.

I have had a ton of ideas thrown my way but it usually involves a pump feeding the passenger side to the driver side. However eventually the passenger side would go dry and the pump would be running with no fuel going though it getting hot. even if the return was plumbed into the passenger side.

I've been through this already....it isn't so simple....

If you go to a return system and aren't really careful about how you do it it will make things worse instead of better

There are issues with running a passenger side pump...

You can leave the assembly intact in the basket...and use the siphon as well as a passenger side pump

What is your application? FI? How much HP? Track the car?

The car is actually my Fiancé's project car. Its an LSx application. It will be running E85 and most likely have a boost type power adder. She is unsure if it will be a turbo application or a SC application. I am doing a little research for her since I have had quite a bit of experience with the RX8. HP levels would most likely be right around 650 WHP.

In hopes that you guys will take me serious and not think I am just some random guy talking and having a pipe dream, here are a couple pictures.

And her project - the one that this thread is about:

Just run a swirl pot...see my build thread, I did one. Very easy to do, and solves the problem completely.
