Engine swap suspension upgrade

Hey everyone I live in SoCal I brought my 8 from the east coast and still have the 1st engine it's about to hit 138k miles. I just replaced the exhaust and headers. I'm thinking about swapping it to a 1jz/3rotor/or the LS1 does anyone know if it will be approved by CA DMV. I need some help if you guys know how to go about it I want more power

Do you know what the California laws are? If you do, then you'll know which motor you can or cannot swap. Basically, if you're swapping for a newer and cleaner burning engine then the answer is yes. 3 rotor is not going to pass emissions. Only a handful of people have done a v8 swap. Learning is fun, give it a try

Has anyone ever put in a 4g63 engine from an Evo? Could that work since they are easy to add power to?

How about we install about 500 of these model airplane jet engines on the back of an RX-8?

JetCat P200-SX Turbine engine 52 lb thrust with internal kero start - Call to order! (JCATP200SX) - troybuiltmodels.com

55 lbs of thrust for each one, times 500 = 27,500 lbs of thrust!!!!!

I bet it would be a lot easier than any of these stupid engine swap ideas, like an LS1, or a Cummins Diesel. And since it costs a heck of a lot more to do this swap, it must be better. Price tag for 500 of these engines is a cool $2,597,500.

BC.

That swap is using a stock turbo. You forgot about the Isuzu torque curve.

Isuzu V6's have that effect. Instant woody from just being near them. Ergo, your ***** chart.
