This is ugly. If it's the stock **** with illuminated numbers, go for it. But not this man.

Yeah i would say that's a no-go.

But I have seen people illuminate the OEM one. Not really my style or what I want to send my money on but I think it might be sort of cool.

I ended up buying the gear **** and gaiter from ICT and really like it. The gear ****, stitch colour, finish, and LED choice is all customizable on their website to suit your style. I chose Model 3 with an aluminum finish and blue stiching. The gaiter fits perfectly in the original frame and the total time to install was about 30 minutes. I wired the LEDs to my seat heater backlight so that the gear **** illumination switches on with my lights

Here it is installed. No haters please

not sure if you are still active but how did you spin the **** on? Did you spin it with the whole trim attached?

Hi. I didn't twist it on, there are screws on the side that hold it in place. Just push the aluminium piece down as far as you can and use a small allan key to tighten it.

Looks great IMO. Had seen those and always wondered how they would look installed. Nicely done.

I'm looking at these for a project coming up, how's the shifter holding up? Is it weighted like the stock ****?
