RX-8 Issues I can't figure out: Codes P0037, P0031, P0443, P2259, and P0661
 

I am new to the forum and want to wish everyone a Happy and Prosperous 2024. We own a 2006 Mazda RX-8 and while driving it around the neighborhood suddenly the engine died out. Battery was dead and replaced it the following day. Currently the engine refuses to turn and crank up. I received a a few codes from the OBD: P0037, P0031, P0443, P2259, and P0661. I just tried to turn it on again and did not hear the fuel in the system, which leads me to beleive that it could be a dead fuel pump but not sure due to all of the codes. At this point not sure where to start. I was told to replace the mass air flow as it is the first point of entry due to all of the codes that are related to the air/fuel. Not sure if anyone out there has experienced anything like this in the past. Any ideas??? Thank you

Have you pulled the plugs to see if it's flooded? I'd start there, and if so, follow deflood procedure. It will take a long time but will work eventually. Check all fuses. I'd leave the MAF alone for now, it doesn't play a role in starting. Whoever said to change the MAF after seeing those codes shouldn't be advising you ant further.
