Regular vs. synthic oil

Hey I was online just looking over some rx8 stuff and I came across a guy who had a two page rant about how you should only use regular oil and not synthic oil in rx8's. Just wondering if he's right or not. On a side note your coolant fans fuses are the suppose to be 30's or 60's. In the book it is saying 60 but had a guy arguee with me that it's suppose to be 30's. Thanks guys!

Do more research oil has been beat to death research and make your own choice. As for fans not sure.

Until you hear a lot of people tell you to use 30A fuses on your fans, go by the book. I wouldn't want my fans just to kick off on a hot day and end up roasting my engine because some random got a little hot under the collar about fuses.

Alright thanks a lot guys. I'll go with the30A fuse for my fan cause that's what was already in it.

Use the fuse the manual calls for.
Just because that's what was in it is not a good reason.
Overheating is a major killer of 8 engines.
The OEM temp gauge is borderline useless.
If you blow a 30a on a hot day by the time you notice it's overheating it could already be too late.
